RPL Write may not work through FBUS interface (USB recommended). Will be fixed in official release, as this is public-test only.
Changes:
Backup files is now written when IMEI is damaged (includes ????)
Added full support for ASK/RPL operations.
Cert restore is done clicking just one button (Restore Certificates).
To restore certificate you need activated account on our server with logs inside. Logs prices will be fixed upon official release.
First time you need just click “Restore Certificates”. Software will contact our server and download RPL file.

Our software supports certificate request through few ways:
- USB cable (CA-53, DKU-2) via FBUS interface (phone switched on/in local mode)
- USB cable (CA-53, DKU-2) using flashmode BootROM (if phone can’t switch on, or go to local mode – its dead)
- UFSx FBUS – if phone working ok
- UFSx FlashBUS – f phone can’t switch on, or go to local mode – its dead

Our software supports RPL caching – that means if you will use your account to generate RPL file, it will be stored on server permamently. If you will lose your RPL file, you can re-download it any time you need. Same situation if someone already generated RPL for this PublicID – software will download RPL from server without any fees!

If no RPL file for given PublicID is avaiable on server, software will place ASK file for calculation in queue – all you need to do now is just trying to download RPL file clicking “Restore Certificates”.

If your RPL will be finally calculated, software will download it, decrypt and will try to write to phone.

It can repair blocked keypad/fbus counter, damaged SP area (FFFF), SX4 authorization problems (superdongle key), repair DRM keys, repair CMLA keys, and recreate PM from scratch if phone will be damaged somehow.

Don’t forget to use SX4 authorization and write good PM to correct calibration problems.

As long as we dont have built-in FlashBUS yet, its not possible to write NPC/HWC/CCC/VARIANT certificates. But we have solution. If our software during writing RPL file will found unsupported certificate – it will be extracted to binary format – so no more problems with repairing damaged IMEI for example (NPC cert) – in BIN format you can write it via HWK in example.

If there is some problems with writing RPL using our software, you can download it and save to HD and write by any Nokia software, even original (we using original NMP format). Just tick “Save RPL to file”.

If you have already RPL file in NMP format, then tick “Restore using local RPL file” and point software to local RPL file – so you avoid server transaction.

[hidepost]In new version of our Nokia Tool, v4.0D, to satisfy our customers, we added option to use our local SX4 card to authorize your BB5 phones with it.

How it works, why it is needed?
Welll, in Nokia BB5 phones, new security has came, that means:
- PM Field 1 has been locked before write/erase
- PM Field 309 has been locked before write/erase
- Other critical PM fields has been locked
What it means?
Critical phone sections such as RF (signal), Energy Calibration (charging), etc is READ ONLY.
But…
If your phone will be damaged somehow (4 locks after bad flashing, full erase), and your PM will be also low-level damaged… YOU CANT REWRITE this values! Even after writting correct RPL phone will have following problems:

- ST_SECURITY_TEST failed
- No signal
- No charging (charger not supported)
- Random resets
- Contact Service
- Phone startup failed
- more…

So solution for all this problems is just to Authorize phone with SX4 card, and write correct PM!
Internet connection needed.
Tested with USB connection and Nokia E50, should work also on FBUS.
Update your instalation using TYPHOON UPDATER, as always.
PS. Its important. Directly after SX4 Authorization, write PM. Dont reboot phone or change phone mode, because Authoriation will be cleared.[/hidepost]

while unlocking “OLD SECURITY” dct4plus phones procedure is simple, first write unlock partial, unlock with KS, and then just reflash phone to latest aviable firmware OR write restore_img if thus exists – this is all…

In case of “new security” phones procedure is following: flash phone with “unlock partial” as mcu, TOGETHER with PPM, CNT and unlock with our tool. NO NEED TO REFLASH after unlock, phone WILL have signal, ST_FLASH_CHECKSUm and ST_SIMLOCK will be OK of course.

While unlocking make sure stable internet connection you have – bad signature means contact service
